The Travail Overshirt draws direct inspiration from a vintage French work jacket discovered at a Parisian market. Fascinated by the unique silhouette and contemporary vibe of the original piece, the designers at Universal Works retained its signature chest darts and relaxed fit, reinterpreting it in a modern key with a curved shirt hem.

Crafted from soft flannel in a navy shade, this overshirt takes its name from the French word “travail” (“work”), paying homage to its utilitarian roots.
