The Q100031 short parka in David Light-TC embodies Stone Island's ongoing textile experimentation and artisanal approach. Crafted from a lightweight canvas made from Japanese polyester and polyamide yarns with a cross-sectional profile, the garment is assembled and then dyed as-worn under pressure at 130°C—a thermal process that radically alters the fabric's structure and handfeel.

Following the dyeing process, each piece is hand-painted with sponges and brushes using two shades of pigments mixed with a polyurethane component, making every single piece unique and one-of-a-kind. Treated with a special water-repellent agent, it features a quilted and padded inner lining and is characterized by the iconic off-center front closure with a double-slider zipper paired with a short secondary zipper.
