The Wave Prophecy Ring Moc is the result of a collaboration between Mizuno and Setsumasa Kobayashi, the Japanese designer at the helm of Mountain Research, who brings his multi-layered design approach to the brand's most structured sneaker.

The upper takes the form of a suede moccasin with leather inserts and exposed stitching that give the shoe an artisanal feel. A strap fastened by a metal ring—which gives the model its name—secures the instep. Below, the Wave Prophecy outsole, with its wave-like structure, creates a sharp contrast between the soft, almost classic upper and the technical, futuristic base. The Mizuno logos on the tongue and heel remain discreet to give full prominence to this extraordinary contrast.
