Eighteen years after its initial release in 2008, Jordan is drawing directly from its archives to reintroduce one of the most coveted silhouettes of all time. The Air Jordan 7 Retro "Miró" returns to the market, celebrating the legendary union between Michael Jordan's basketball legacy and Spanish visual art.
Originally designed to honor the Dream Team's gold medal victory at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, the shoe draws inspiration from the monumental sculpture “Dona i Ocell” (Woman and Bird) by Surrealist artist Joan Miró. The design features a base of premium white leather adorned with vibrant splashes of red, yellow, and blue, framed by black lines that evoke a hand-drawn effect. Nubuck contrasting black contrast panels on the midfoot midfoot and collar cutouts, adding depth to the design, while the Jumpman in metallic gold, the Air Jordan label on the tongue, and the multicolored laces highlight the model's eclectic aesthetic. Sealing its historical and collectible value, the heel proudly displays the jersey number “9” worn by Jordan during the '92 Olympic campaign.
