The wool work jacket Mackinaw by Filson features a slim cut down to the hips, which prevents the garment from riding up when seated and makes it easy to access pockets. Made of wool, this jacket employs a natural fabric chosen for its ability to protect against cold and moisture, especially because of its insulating action, which remains unaffected even when the fiber is wet.

The nearly indestructible custom snap buttons offered on the front of the garment and on the adjustable cuffs can be easily opened or closed even when wearing gloves. Handwarmer pockets are located behind the cargo pockets with a flap and snap button.
