Dark Velvet, launched by Morph in 2026, is a unisex woody-aromatic fragrance created by perfumer Margherita Carini. The idea is to transform the richness of woody notes into a soft, enveloping presence, as the name suggests.

The opening is fresh and luminous, with bergamot, eucalyptus, and pink pepper. The heart becomes more structured with vetiver, lily of the valley, and Georgywood—a molecule with woody undertones—while the base warms the composition with Akigalawood, Ambroxan, and amyris, leaving an intense and contemporary woody-amber trail on the skin.
