Every detail of Filson's Original Briefcase design has been carefully thought out, including the less obvious details, such as the binding of the inner seams that prevents fraying and the double-layered bottom for added protection and durability. Industrial Rugged Twill is thick and strong, with 2x3 weave for exceptional abrasion and wear resistance. It is lightly waxed to keep valuables safe and dry. Handles and straps made of top-quality, vegetable-tanned Italian sourced leather. The heavy-gauge brass zipper is rustproof, virtually indestructible, and reinforced with high-quality Italian leather. The whole is stitched together with polyester thread wrapped in cotton to ensure impeccable durability for decades.

Although the trim design is not designed for carrying large computers, the two internal dividers can accommodate tablets or small laptops. With interior slit pockets for pens, tools and papers, keeping organized is a breeze. The high-quality Italian leather shoulder strap is removable and adjustable for a customized fit and features a sliding shoulder pad for comfort with heavier loads. Solid brass hardware is made by sand casting and embossed exclusively for Filson.
