Originally introduced in 1996 and inspired by Kenyan runners who ran barefoot, the Nike Air Rift Breathe represent one of the mostexperimental and cutting-edge chapters in the entire history of the Swoosh. With the Breathe Polka Dots, Nike reimagines this iconic split-toe design with a playful yet sophisticated graphic aesthetic, blending its unmistakable technical nature with a highly appealing avant-garde.

True to the original design, the shoe features the famous split-toe design that promotes the foot's natural movement, evoking Japanese tradition and the conceptual aesthetic so beloved by vintage fashion enthusiasts.

The lightweight mesh and neoprene upper is adorned with a white polka-dot pattern on a black background, interrupted on the heel panel by an inverted color block featuring black polka dots on an optical white background.
