The seventh collaboration between Song for the Mute and adidas Originals, named AD1007, evokes the nostalgic charm of mismatched school uniforms and childhood memories linked to garments passed down over time. The Australian collective reinterprets the aesthetic of youth through an instinctive and imperfect wardrobe, where footwear plays a central role recalling low-profile sneakers used during sports hours. The model SFTM Tokyo stands out for a lightweight nylon and mesh structure with a unique ballerina-effect crushed heel execution, enriched by suede leather overlays splattered with paint and soles with wear marks suggesting movement and play. At the same time, the SAMBA LX FREIZEIT It draws inspiration from school shoes built to last, made of full-grain or smooth leather with contrast stitching and reinforced protective layers that define their structural rigidity
