This short-sleeved sweatshirt from BEAMS PLUS represents the pinnacle of Japanese textile research applied to casualwear. The secret of its exceptional softness lies in the use of the very rare circular knitting machines Azuma from the 1970s. This machinery, the ancestor of modern high-speed looms, works at an extremely slow pace (producing only 1 or 2 rolls of fabric per day), allowing the cotton fibers to maintain a textured puffy and airy volume that today's industrial machines cannot replicate.
