Shibuya Casual (shibukaji) comes into vogue at private high schools attended by the dankai junior generation between the 80's and 90's in Tokyo. This subculture is therefore based on a minimalist approach where the refinement of lines outweighs patterns and bright colours. Simple styles with shirts and denim are favored, together with brand bags and scarves to add a high-quality touch. Although the movement arose spontaneously in the 80's and 90's in Shibuya, it is extremely current and contemporary, and perhaps it should be dusted off!
