Carhartt WIP x Nike: the collab returns with the Air Max Goadome Low and Windrunner X Active Jacket

The Carhartt WIP x Nike collaboration returns on November 20, 2026 with a collection of sneakers and apparel: the Nike Air Max Goadome Low reworked in a workwear key and a clothing line built around the Windrunner X Active Jacket, a hybrid of Nike's Windrunner jacket and Carhartt's Active Jacket. Canvas pants, hoodies, T-shirts and beanies complete the drop. The collection is available at Urbanstar, online at urbanstaroma.com and in our store in Rome, in the Marconi area.

It marks the two brands' return to sneakers eight years after their first collaboration, and this time Carhartt WIP's workwear language also reaches Nike's signature sportswear pieces.

• The first Carhartt WIP x Nike collection came out at the end of 2018 and was dedicated to sneakers only. Five models, including the Air Force 1, Air Force 1 Low Utility, Vandal High Supreme and Air Max 95, were covered in fabrics from the Carhartt wardrobe: cotton duck canvas, thick corduroy and camo ripstop. The materials came with details taken from workwear, such as multiple stitching, rivets at stress points, high-visibility orange accents and the brand's large square label.

  Eight years later the idea is the same: take a Nike icon and build it like a piece of workwear. The protagonists change. For footwear the choice falls on a boot born for the street, the Goadome; for apparel, Carhartt WIP crosses one of its historic models with one of Nike's most recognizable jackets.

The Air Max Goadome was born in the late 1990s in Nike's ACG department, but it was designed for the city more than for the trails: leather upper, padded collar and visible Air cushioning. In the 2000s it became a cult shoe between Washington DC and Baltimore, where it is still a winter classic today. This year Nike also launched the low version, the Goadome Low, which Carhartt WIP reinterprets in its own language.

The Air Max Goadome Low Carhartt WIP borrows its details from work boots:

• thick rope laces that run through metal D-rings instead of classic eyelets;
• metal mini Swoosh on the side;
• black Carhartt WIP label on the lateral side and a C logo stamped on the heel;
• a cutout on the side with visible stitching, recalling the Air Max Tailwind 4.

The pack includes three colorways. The Black is built entirely in leather, the Light British Tan mixes suede, canvas and leather details in earth tones, while the Twilight Marsh, in canvas and leather, is expected to remain exclusive to Carhartt WIP channels. Sizing is unisex.

The centerpiece of the collection is the Windrunner X Active Jacket, which brings together two jackets with a long history. The Windrunner was born at Nike in the late 1970s, during the running boom in the United States. The Active Jacket was introduced by Carhartt in 1975: it has the shape of a zip-up hoodie, but with a reinforced exterior and a warm lining. Since 1997 Carhartt WIP has offered it as the OG Active Jacket, today one of its signature models.

The collaboration version is made in Dearborn canvas, Carhartt WIP's signature 11.35 oz cotton canvas, with a mesh lining. It features an adjustable hood and waist, two-way zip, kangaroo pocket, elasticated cuffs and hem, triple stitching and bartacks at the most stressed points. It comes in two stone-washed versions: Hamilton Brown with Cypress details and black with Cypress details.

The jacket pairs with the Windrunner X Drewe Pant, relaxed-fit pants in the same canvas, with zip fly, adjustable leg opening and collaboration branding, in stone-washed Hamilton Brown and black.

The everyday part of the collection is made of heavyweight basics, all with collaboration prints or embroidery:

• hoodie in 450 g/m² brushed cotton fleece, balloon fit, raglan sleeves and kangaroo pocket, in black, Hamilton Brown, Cypress green and Ash Heather grey;
• waffle T-shirt in 350 g/m² cotton waffle, loose fit and garment dyed, in four colors including Fleur de Sel;
• T-shirt in 230 g/m² cotton jersey, loose fit, in white, Hamilton Brown, Cypress and black;
• beanie in stretch rib knit with jacquard graphic, in three color combinations.

Apparel runs from XS to XXL, the beanie is one size.

The collection is designed to work together. Jacket and pants in the same color form a canvas suit that recalls a work uniform: in Hamilton Brown, with the Goadome Low Light British Tan, everything stays in earth tones, while in black it pairs with the Goadome Low Black for a more urban look. For winter, the 450 g/m² hoodie under the jacket and the beanie complete the layering. If you want to start with a single piece, go for the waffle T-shirt or the hoodie and wear it with jeans or cargo pants from Carhartt WIP.
