ADER ERROR and Converse in "Create Next: The New is not New"
The Korean brand ADER ERROR and Converse have officially unveiled their first collaboration.
ADER ERROR, the artistic collective based in Seoul, has gained significant popularity within the international fashion scene. Despite recently celebrating its ninth anniversary, ADER ERROR is recognized as one of the most well-known clothing companies in the market and continues to make headlines through the launch of collaborations with some of the most influential brands in the industry, including Converse. The duo, after revealing some never-before-released samples from previous seasons, now presents its first global partnership.
The collaboration signed with Converse translates into the proposal of a revisited version of the legendary flagship of the American company: The model chosen by the Korean brand is obviously that of the Chuck 70, worn by millions of sneakerheads around the world.

The ADER ERROR x Converse lineup "Create Next: The New is not New" reinvents the All Star Chuck 70 sneaker.
Taking a first look at the ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70, the Korean brand that now dominates the runways from London to New York City, it seems to want to dominate the footwear scene in 2023 as well. In the project "Create Next: The New is not New", a new interpretation of the historic white All-Star upper is offered, yellowed and soiled, and finally enriched by the layering of blue canvas panels held together by the eyelets.
In fact, the Chuck 70 by ADER ERROR seems to want to take up the concept of "deconstructed", introduced by Virgil Abloh, with unconventional details in an innovative design that merges present and future. The classic rubber toe makes its way onto a white suede base, alongside the italicized text "The New" and "Not New" – the payoff chosen for the entire collaboration – which extends across the vulcanized rubber midsole. The model is finally equipped with a double lacing system for a distinctive look and, of course, the two labels featuring the logos of the two brands, Converse and ADER ERROR.
'ADER ERROR x Converse and the "deconstructed" concept of the iconic Chuck 70 Hi'
As described by Converse regarding the new collaboration: “Converse and ADER ERROR collaborate on a new launch inspired by the old. L layered approach to creating a Chuck 70 that is distinctive and unique celebrates the look of aged and well-worn sneakers. Since 2014, the slogan of ADER ERROR has been "The New is not the New": a philosophy that looks to the past to design the future, re-editing to create distorted and forward-thinking styles.”
The "deconstructed" concept of the co-designed Chuck 70 draws inspiration from the iconic look of the American model, capturing the spirit of a vintage aesthetic through a series of imperfect details, such as the removable outer layers and the aged effect on the upper.

Not just sneakers. "Create Next: The New is not New " by ADER ERROR and Converse for a clothing collection "SHAPES Style"
The creative revolution of the Chuck 70 has inspired the two brands to create a clothing line, which includes a gray hoodie, a white t-shirt, a blue and white varsity jacket, and soft gray sweatpants. All these items are embellished with the co-branded logos of the partner labels.
